The 2008 Guildford Cycle Challenge will be held on Sunday 7th September. All three rides start and finish at the Artington Park & Ride site on the Old Portsmouth Road (Google map). Start times are as follows:

• Epic: start between 8:00am and 8:45am
• Challenge: start between 8:45am and 9:30am
• Bike for All: start at 9:30am

To ease congestion, riders will be set off in small groups, and start times will be allocated to all riders when they register.

The event is supported by Sport Guildford and by Guildford Borough Council. Other supporters and sponsors will provide goods and services to enhance your riding experience.

Each route takes in some of the best scenery around Guildford, with plenty of interest to keep you going along the route. You can try to get a good time around the route, or take it easy. There are some nice viewing spots and even a good pub or two along the way. Route maps will be available on the day.

Make a day of it and bring along your family and friends to take part with you, or cheer you on as you complete the ride. There are good spots around the course to cheer and your friends and family may want to help at the feeding stations or stopping points around the Bike for All course.

The Event village will have lots going on including music, information stands and bike demos. But don't worry, there's plenty going on for you too, including our Bike Doctor offering handy tips on bike maintenance and basic repairs and sports massage before and after your ride (this should be pre-booked).
